How to share folders and files (Google Drive - OneDrive - more later)
Google Drive Folder and File Sharing
Google Drive makes it so you can share out folders and files that are too large to share via email or text. Oftentimes if you are trying to share something that is too large you will get rejected by email, which can then give you errors, or if you've ever seen a video shared in texting that looks terrible. By putting your files in Google Drive you remove file size restrictions by sharing a link to your folder or file with your intended recipient(s).

There are some choices to consider when you share your folders and files. You will want to determine if you want the folders and files to be able to be edited or even deleted by anyone with access. You can set the permissions so a file is not able to be edited, deleted, or commented on. Depending on which service such as Google Drive or OneDrive or any of the other file-sharing services, you are using you may be able to comment on a file or folder and you also may be able to set a deadline for how long that file or folder is shared.
If you simply want the other party to be able to see the file, then don't allow any editing or resharing, and set the file to specific people. If you choose the specific people option, they may have to have an account on the same service, such as Google or Microsoft. Those two are so widely used that they make some of the best choices for file sharing.
There are some limitations to the types of files that will be able to be played directly in the browser. Video files from Android or iOS(iPhone or iPad) should play without trouble, but .AVI files will not work in OneDrive but will from Google Drive.
